Formerly known as Boggabri Gunnedah Gun Club Inc., the club has a rich history of shooting stretching back over 50 years.
In 2015, the Boggabri Gunnedah Gun Club Inc. committee voted to change the trading name of the club to Gunnedah Sporting Clays (GSC), to better reflect the change in direction the club was taking into the future.
